Film-lovers are being given the chance to take advantage of a marvellous movie offer next week, when Feethams launches its fantastic Cinema Spend ticket event.

The leisure scheme has teamed up with Vue Darlington to offer a free movie ticket to anyone who spends £40 at the restaurants and cafés in one day throughout the forthcoming half-term week.

“We’re really excited to be able to run our very first Cinema Spend event alongside Vue,” said Simon Hawkins, Development Director with Urban & Civic – the property development company behind the multi-million pound Feethams. “We’ve had an amazing response since we opened this summer, and we wanted to do something that thanked the people of Darlington for making our first few months such an enormous success.

“We spoke with our tenants here and they all agreed that giving away free cinema tickets was something they wanted to get behind,” he said. “We’re expecting a very busy week here during the school holidays and I’m absolutely delighted we’ve been able to put this special offer together in time for half-term.”

To qualify for a free ticket, customers just need to spend a total of £40 or more at any of Feethams’ restaurants and cafés in one day, between Monday 24 October and Saturday 29 October.

“Make sure you keep your receipts and bring them with you to Feethams the following weekend, on Friday 4 November or Saturday 5 November, between 12pm and 4pm,” said Simon. “Our team on the podium level, outside Vue, will then exchange your receipts for a free ticket.

“Everyone is taking part, including Prezzo, Bella Italia, The Chinese Buffet, Subway, Nando’s, Mangobean, Hungry Horse and the Thyme restaurant in Premier Inn,” said Simon. “It doesn’t matter how many receipts you use to make up the £40 total, just as long as they are all from one day.”

The Feethams Cinema Spend event runs from Monday 24 October to Saturday 29 October. For more details and all terms and conditions, see http://www.feethamsdarlington.co.uk/whats-on/events/vue-darlington-cinema-spend-campaign.html.
