Families have been flocking to Feethams this summer to meet and pose for pictures with their favourite TV and movie characters.

Following the success of the recent visit of Sid and Scrat from the Ice Age movies, Darlington’s newest entertainment and leisure scheme played host to the heroes of PAW Patrol – bringing smiles to the faces of hundreds of adoring fans.

Nickelodeon’s most popular TV pooches – fire dog Marshall and police pooch Chase – swapped rescue missions in Adventure Bay for an extra special appearance at Feethams, where excited children got the chance to meet and take photographs with their canine heroes.

Simon Hawkins, Development Director with Urban & Civic – the property development company behind the new the multi-million pound Feethams leisure scheme - said it had been great fun to welcome the duo to the centre. “We had a fantastic time with Chase and Marshall and it was a real delight seeing so many children excitedly queuing to meet the characters,” he said.

“The two dogs appeared at various intervals throughout the day and our special guests made sure all their fans had an amazing time by greeting them with a big hug and taking lots of pictures for them to take home.

“It’s always great to see smiling, happy families at Feethams,” said Simon, “and the visits of Sid and Scrat and PAW Patrol have proved hugely popular with children and parents alike. Everyone here was so excited and our young visitors loved the chance to meet their heroes.

“We’re now looking forward to announcing our next family-focused event,” he said.
